IPOB Condemn The Barbaric Killing Of Innocent Anambra Youths By Agunechemba Militia And Call For Compensations

IPOB Press Release

February 12 2025 | IPOB

The noble family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide condemns the barbaric murder of youths that is going on in Anambra State by the State contracted murderous militias who are mainly Igbo haters. The barbaric executions of innocent youths in Owerre Ezukala of Orumba LGA of Anambra State by Soludo’s Agunechemba militia call for an international condemnation and must receive so. IPOB wishes to inform Governor Soludo that if his Agunechemba militia’s target is against genuine IPOB members, he will have a serious battle to face because IPOB members are not criminals and neither are they violent against anyone. Everyone in Anambra State knows that he created this Agunaechemba militia group for his political opponents in Anambra State for the forthcoming election in November this year, 2025.

IPOB is not against any drastic efforts by the Anambra State Government to get rid of the criminals tormenting the state. In fact, IPOB has been in the forefront in condemning and confronting the increase in the rate of insecurity in the southeast, particularly in Imo State and Anambra State, since 2021. We have always called for an action to stop these barbaric criminals tormenting the region. We are aware that some of these criminals were agents contracted by the Nigerian government and by the state governments to blackmail IPOB that have turned into monsters. IPOB has constantly condemned the Nigerian government for creating agent provocateurs to impersonate IPOB and ESN in order to demonize this peaceful movement. We know that in the end, those criminals they used and dumped will start terrorizing the people. This is the current state of insecurity situation in the southeast.

Nevertheless, IPOB and ESN will not remain silent when innocent hardworking Igbo youths are being rounded up and executed in a barbaric manner by murderous militias drafted from Biafra enemies’ camps. We condemn the reckless abduction and barbaric executions of Igbo youths on mere suspicion. IPOB supports every genuine effort and templates to get rid of the soulless criminals, kidnapping syndicates, organ harvesters, drug cartels, cultists, and Fulani terrorists operating in our region.

The former Ebubeagu criminals that have been rebranded into Agunechemba in Anambra State are headed by one agent named Mr. Kenneth Emeakayi. Everyone in the South East Region knew how he managed to slaughter Igbo lives. Kenneth Emeakayi wasted a lot of lives between 2000 and 2001 during the Bakassi era while working for his principal, Late Governor Mbadinuju, the former governor of Anambra State. Kenneth Emeakayi, this time, we are expecting you to do your work diligently and carefully and never torment or involve your previous atrocities during the period of Bakassi and Mbadinuju’s regime.

IPOB will not allow you to get away with indiscriminate slaughter of innocent Igbo youths the way you did in the past. Kenneth Emeakayi, please note, gone are the days you can order for the slaughter of innocent Igbo youths and go scot-free. IPOB is not against you doing your job and Anambra State, but it is dangerous for you to kill Igbo youths without proper investigation.

IPOB is not against the Anambra State Government under Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo to clean up the State as long as they are not making IPOB members and Igbo youths their target and not killing innocent people. Besides, going after criminals, kidnappers, and others, the Agunechemba should also go after Fulani terrorists who are in the forest and bushes kidnapping, raping women, destroying our land and heritage. Though, we know that the State Governors, particularly those in the East, will not dare go after the Fulani privileged terrorists so not to offend their political masters, Nevertheless, ESN will always do the needful when it comes to the Fulani terrorists.

Once again, IPOB supports every genuine effort to get rid of criminals tormenting Anambra State and the entire Eastern Region. However, we condemn the barbaric killing of innocent Igbo youths by the Agunechemba militia.

More so, IPOB members must not be targeted by this militia because IPOB members are non-violent and not criminals but disciplined voluntary unarmed civilians pursuing Biafra’s Self-Determination. Finally, Prof SOLUDO should visit the families of those innocent youths murdered by his militia and pay them adequate compensation, and apologise to the families.
