We Did Not Issue Any Sit-At-Home Order In Lagos – IPOB

IPOB Press Release

March 30 2023 | IPOB

The attention of the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU has been drawn to the laughable and disgraceful statement making rounds in the zoo that the noble movement of IPOB issued a sit at home order in Lagos State. The statement is false, laughable, and coming from the quarters of blackmailers to disparaged IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

IPOB has never issued any sit-at-home order outside Biafra Land. Anyone issuing any sit at home orders in Biafra or in Lagos is on his or her own and not doing so on behalf of Mazi Nnamdi KANU nor of IPOB. Therefore, IPOB publicly disassociate ourselves from any purported sit at home call in Lagos or anywhere in Nigeria, including Biafra Land at this time. Any day IPOB issues a sit at home order, the reasons for the sit at home will be made public, and it will be observed only in Biafra Region and any other regions that may like to join.

We are aware that Yoruba politicians are using political thugs and criminals to attack Ndigbo in Lagos, but they will regret their actions soon.

Ndigbo in Lagos should know that IPOB is not looking for popularity but only interested in protecting ALL Biafrans irrespective of their location in the world until Biafra is restored and beyond. IPOB has no faction, let alone have a factional leader. The chief infiltrator in Finland has been ignored by Biafrans in his mindless sit at homes in the East; perhaps he thinks Ndigbo in Lagos will be so daft to obey his sit-at-home order in Lagos. We know our people are wise.

The leader of IPOB is Mazi Nnamdi KANU, who is currently illegally detained in DSS solitary confinement in Abuja, and those piloting IPOB struggle in his absence are DOS members headed by Mazi Chika Edoziem. Therefore, Nigeria Government and their compromised media calling a double agent in Finland an IPOB leader is idiotic and therefore, dead on arrival.

From today onwards any media outfit in Nigeria whether print media, online news, or others anywhere in the world that makes the mistake of tagged Simon Ekpa and autopilot as IPOB members or Mazi Nnamdi KANU disciple again must be ready to meet us in the law courts; Enough is enough!

We have made it open to all media groups to stop linking Simon Ekpa and his cohorts and Autopiloters group to the IPOB movement and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. We are now prepared to take the bull by the horn.

Media must call Simon Ekpa and autopilot group to what they did and not connect their actions to IPOB. IPOB is a separate movement led by Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Simon Ekpa or autopilot group are on their own. We are not the same people. We are a peaceful movement seeking the freedom of Biafra through a UN supervised referendum.

We use this medium to ask the public and particularly Ndigbo in Lagos to ignore and disregard this falsehood because IPOB did not order a sit-at-home in Lagos.

Firstly, the Finland based double agent in question is not an IPOB member. A word is enough for the wise.
